  A little about myself: I have been in education in many different roles over the years but my greatest joy is  working with young learners as they are so full of potential and have so much natural excitement for inquiry. It is exciting to see them grow each year and become more and more themselves. It’s like watching an artist flesh out a canvas. A little more detail here, a little more color there, and pretty soon you have the whole picture. 

Outside of school, I enjoy the arts. I like to paint, draw and make ceramics myself but take every opportunity to go to the ballet, take in a play, or visit the many amazing galleries we have in Portland.
