Jason Leith - Lead Teacher 3-5 CB Room

 I have been a Portland native for the better part of 20 years. I started out as a Paraeducator in PPS, first as a sub, then starting about 7 years ago at Woodmere Elementary.  In 2023 I started at PSU to get my Special Education license and earn my Masters of Science in Special Education.  I was lucky in that I was able to stay at Woodmere for the entire process and am now coming into the 2025-26 school year as the Room 9 CB room Special Education teacher.  I am so fortunate to continue at Woodmere and be a part of the amazing community we have here.

 

I live in the Woodstock neighborhood in SE Portland with my wife and son, just a short bike ride from Woodmere.  In my free time I'm usually reading, cooking or riding my bike with my wife to explore the great restaurants, activities and places around Portland.
